Worcester 5.15 - A Class 5 Handicap Hurdle race over 2 miles and 7 furlongs on genuinely Good Going (I walked the Course with dogs yesterday, well watered and some nice rain in past few days). HOWLONGISAFOOT won this for me last year, has been apparently out of form since but sole decent run since that win was over Course and Distance last Autumn. I think raised mark was beyond the horse, losses affected confidence but turns up here off 86, 5lbs lower than 2018 and first return to Worcester this season. The horse needs to get in to a nice rhythm and confidence might flood back and with excellent Course form, I'm ready to take a chance on that. I also like the Pipe horse GREAT TEMPO who ran well over further at Ffos Llas recently with aid of a tongue tie, that looks solid recent form and hard not to see it involved here. If you want one for a little T/Cast perm then Canyouhearmenow who has moved to Ben Pauling has shown glimmers of form and been backed more than once with previous Yard by shrewd money.

Worcester 2.15 - Balkinstown (10/1) and Midnight Gem (25/1) both have Course form and could outrun Odds Midnight Gem (3rd in this last year off 99) and Balkinstown (needed seasonal debut) solid form last season are worth a small each way investment. (T/Cast horse would be another old favourite Culm Counsellor).
