Bath 4.15

Bath 4.15 - Listed - Class 1 - 1 mile 6 furlongs - 14 run - Good to Firm

This is not a Handicap but a Stakes race where all 3 year olds carry 8 stones 11 pounds and all 4 year olds and over carry 9 stones 4 pounds.

There is an amazing scenario that the first 6 home in an handicap at Goodwood who all finished within 2 lengths reoppose but on markedly different readjusted terms.

Of them the one of the most advantageous mark is ROSEABUD who gets a 14lb pull with Sea Slyph for just over a length and is on better terms too with Flower of Scotland the runner up and all other runners. Percys Pride too does well out of the readjusted terms. ROSEBUD though has winning Course form at this quirky track and also a distance win and looks a strong each way punt for Johnson and Fanning.

John and Thady Gosden run a pair of unexposed types and always worth a close look with later sason improvers and of the pair THOUSAND OAKS looks a better option here than Pennymoor.

TIP - ROSEABUD / Tracker - Thousand Oaks
