Brighton 3.00

Brighton 3.00 4 One For June - 1 point each way @ 12/1

I will now look at 2-3 year old races if something looks particularly well weighted or steps back in Class looking
to find a nice level. William Haggas is a fine exponent of placing his juveniles and he did so with ONE FOR JUNE to win a nice
little race in early summer. The horse has then been very highly tried in two big 2 year old Sales races and has bombed out both
times. That explains the odds of 12/1 here but if you look past those races, which were probably "flying too high" the form of those
horses the horse beat 3 runs back shows Spanish Star running off marks around 68 and more pertinently Arden Pearl winning off a
mark of 78. So; if ONE FOR JUNE responds to being back in the right grade, has not lost its confidence and runs up to that winning
form in a similar grade the mark here of 70 really does look very competitive and the odds of 12/1 very generous. It is always a risk
that the win was a "flatter to deceive" moment but Haggas knows his horses, and it would not have been pitched in to those top races
without very good reason so BOG the 12/1 and lets hope the logic is correct!
