This is the second Division of a Class 5 Handicap over a mile and a half and I had narrowed it down to 3 likely ones on the basis that many

will likely need a run and have little to recommend then first time out. I think Royal Mirage is a horse to follow in coming weeks but may just

need this race. One that has had a run is the inconsistent WOTABREEZE and it has some decent CD form and looks a live danger, but he has

some collateral form with the selection MR SUNDOWNER who looks cracking each way value "if ready" at 12/1. The thing that most strikes

is that fact that this C5/C6 performer won a Class 2 race on softish Going here last season off a mark of 69. It runs here off a mark of 72 with a

5lbs Claim. I can't think of many horses who can step up 3 classes and win, this one did and crucially over Course and Distance with cut. The

other interesting anomaly is the Trainer comments after that race "you just have to keep him happy". That may explain a run on the AW in

January, that means he has had less of a break than some and may just have been a case of the horse telling them it needed a run!
