Actival is in form and the Yard who tend to favour soft ground rather than heavy ground types have taken advantage of recent favourable conditions. Actival is on a nice handicap mark, Tom Scudamore rides Cheltenham as well as anyone and looks a nice each way price. BALLYHILL is from the local Twiston-Davies Yard who could have a decent day here. The key to this horses selection today is the 7lbs Claim that the excellent Jordan Nailor takes off. That brings the mark bang in to competitive range, and a rising mark has been the only niggle for me with this horse for some time.
