The Alan King runner (HIDDEN CARGO) has one outstanding piece of form on a line through Movewithetimesand a repetition of that would frankly leave these in another County up the hill. However, it was not backed up in subsequent
runs and the track here differs as a stamina test. At 7/2 though there is win value so I will have a small stake to cover my e/w
tips; and feel free to do likewise, but the horse will not be proofed or counted in results.
The pair I really like each way are SAMSON who has the benefit of both being race fit and also has assured stamina for the trip;
a mark of 109 following an impressive win is not beyond its capabilities and we are at the stage of the season where race fitness
has to be seen as a big asset and this final climb will certainly find out any horse may be a gallop short of peak fitness. The other
one that catches the eye for an in form yard too is TRANS EXPRESS who has excellent Course form off a similar mark to today and
whose first 2 runs last season were easily its best, indicating it can be prepared to win first time out.
