A more competitive race with several in contention and some with scope to improve.

 

Terrafirma Lady and Cristal Spirit (who ran yesterday but coud reappear) head the market but at around 5/2 don't inspire great confidence or value, Terrafirma Lady should get the trip but is a horse more in the potential as opposed to proven form category.

 

One who has won a race and probably represents best form and value at the top end of the market is AT FIRST GLANCE for Jonjo with junior up, winner of a small race and then an inexplicably poor performance they could not explain, a 3 mile P2P background and worth a second chance I think in this field. 

 

Candy Burg for the Bowens looks out of form and concerns at this trip, Gang Warfare caused a shock as runner up at 80/1 on seasonal debut but that was totally out of the blue and not sure it can repeat it at much more restrictive Odds, Mayaam is basically a solid Flat handicapper, alright over hurdles but stamina likely to be stretched especially given the twists and turns and Pride of Pemberley is on handicap debut ramped significantly up in trip, so a potential to improve but no more than that.

 

That left me with a pair of interest, Heresmynumber @ 22/1 has a Course win and will come on for seasonal debut last time and could outrun Odds of around 20/1, (I'll play in a Tricast on that basis and if you want a small each way investment i would not discourage it and reserve IF a non runner is selected) but I'd be more confident that PERFECT MOMENT can run a place at least, Course and Distance winner who'll strip fitter today after a run and a facile winner here off marks of 90 and 96, has to cope with a mark of 106 but the nature of those wins suggest may have scope to improve further.
