Goodwood 2.40

10 Masham Star @ 8/1 / 9 Donncha @ 8/1 - 1/2 point each way - Lad / Coral / PP / Sky Bet to 4th

Going at Goodwood is designated "soft" but plenty of sun and it should dry out considerably. That begs
the question; will it dry out enough for some Good ground horses and will it dry out too much for those that need some "cut".
A number also make seasonal reappearance and you have to take fitness on trust. Course form and a low draw are usually
the places to look as is Mark Johnston. I like MSHAM STAR of his pair the most, ideally drawn; ground and mark fine, had
a couple of runs and the ideal jockey up. I can see him prominent and we know how hard his horses are to pass here. Of
the remainder; the likes of Love Dreams; Medahim and Right Action will be big dangers but DONNCHA remains an enigma;
on a very tempting mark, good Course form, decent draw, needs the type of all out pace MS will provide and I can't ignore.
If you want a Tricast Perm add in LOVE DREAMS and RIGHT ACTION.
