Division 2 of a Class 6 7 Furlong race and wit the Going on the Soft side of Good and a cold wind it is not

going to dry appreciably here. Form and Fitness are key and with a lot of moderate horses, many with AW form, you have to 

delve back and see what has run well on Turf with cut early in the season and who may be primed to do so again. CARLOVIAN

ticks all the boxes for me, has won twice at 7 furlongs on soft Going, is fit having run recently on AW has won at Catetrick off

marks of 46 and 48 and also a runner up, up that hill at Hamilton over a mile +; that indicates has some proven stamina that

will be a big asset down this long straight. I will also "mention" (see mentions) DEBEN - a 7 furlong winner in the past; more 

focussed recently on 6 furlongs but on a nice mark with soft ground form, could take them along for a long way and tactically

may be vulnerable to a "closer with a bit of stamina" and we'd hope that is CARLOVIAN!
