Ascot 4.10

Valueman - Ascot 4.10 2 Templeross @ 5/1  / 12 Clondaw Bisto @ 16/1

(1/2 point each way each horse)

Ascot has been a battle all winter may be due to inaccurate Going and Weather descriptions/forecasts. I am sure it will be soft today;
not heavy and not Good To Soft and as such TEMPLEROSS looks the most solid near the top of the market. The weight Buckle Street
has just mitigates its obvious chance here; Hatchet Jack is well entered up but no more than a place chance and Pop Rockstar;
Malapie and Ballyheigue Boy all look vulnerable on these terms. MON PALAIS has some good P2P form at 3 miles but looks a
Good ground horse to me so we will go with CLONDAW BISTO; has had wind surgery and plenty of time to get over that as it
was before Christmas. Won a 3 mile Point 2 Point on soft and a placed run at Exeter in attritional conditions where the front 3
were well clear and it beat Bally Gilbert (rated 115), makes this look like a decent mark; especially if the wind op adds just 2-3%
