At The Curragh the Going is soft to Yielding and unlikely to change. There has been a significantdraw bias favouring high numbers all season, that has not precluded lower drawn horses entirely;but almost all that have won from a low draw have "pinged the start" and tacked over to the near side rail, it would therefore suggest that the sensible appr...

The 4.30 at Haydock is a 5 furlong Class 2 Sprint, the Going is Good and likely to remain soand the only change to the conditions, here and elsewhere from yesterday is the somewhat stronger wind, that may impact more at Newmarket on the wide open spaces of the Heath;than it does here, we don't perceive a draw bias here other than not being drawn ve...

The Cambridgeshire is one of the great big field handicaps and opens the Autumn Flat season.A field of 35 go to post over 9 furlongs, in recent years low and high drawn horses have done best;it has anecdotally been best to be drawn low, but more recently as tactics have changed the drawoptions have opened up, with an uphill finish, ability at and b...

Over at Market Rasen the 2 mile 5 furlong Chase at 3.10 sees Ballykan go for a three timer off actually better terms than the horse it beat last time (Wadswick Court);these pair look to have very good chances and have something of a fitness advantageover most of their more dangerous rivals; and that means the form looks more solid. The Twiston-...
