After a disappointing start yesterday in the first main tip race where only Emitom ran with any real credit to finish 6th at 25/1,it was great to see the confidently tipped Shakem Up' Arry storm up the hill to win at 8/1 SP having been advised at 10/1. An excellent run too from Git Maker in the final race who was beaten only by the hot near Odds on favourite, with Git Maker returning Odds of 28/1 SP and with us also seeing Where It All Began and Daily Present placed.

 

In the other races we flagged up Grey Dawning at 5/2 ; Protektorat at 17/2 and the heavily backed Teahupoo at 5/4. Sadly Hitman couldn't deliver for the Lucky 15 Ante Post Bet 

 

We have CAPTAIN TEAGUE running the final Ante Post leg today and I'm very intrigued to see how the horse runs as he had an Entry to run over shorter earlier in the week, there was quite substantial overnight rain according to a few very reliable sources we have seen comment from last night who are in the area, so stamina may be at a premium again today.

 

The highlight is the Gold Cup, personally, having grown up with Desert Orchid and then followed One Man , Best Mate; Kauto Star , Denman etc, I just don't get the vibe in this race that I used too, CORACH RAMBLER though is a horse that you can I think get emotionally attached to and hopefully he and L'Homme Presse can bring the Gold Cup back to the UK today. 

 

There are just the 2 Handicaps today, both over Hurdles and both infinitely tricky puzzles. We'll look for some value to enhance 6 places and we won't be afraid to take on the market in these or the other races....lets hope we can go out with a BANG and find that big priced winner that transforms a week.
