It is nice to be able to report winners, after a poor July, and for his third successive Tipping day, David found one with the facile and easy winner LIL ROCKERFELLER advise to win at 3/1. One aspect of the logic that David uses, that probably exceeds myself and Michael (previous Elite exponents) is his use of a shorter priced win bet, if he thinks it is strong enough. The fact that he also got 4th placed (enhanced as advised) COOL SKY added to the net haul from that race. A 3/1 winner is as good as a 16/1 each way place, so all power to his elbow.

Michael was very close to making it an excellent day with VALE OF KENT just touched off by Medahin, who has always deserved luck in running and finally got it, but a very narrow margin again, just like Suedois on Tuesday and again we packed in another place return with wonderful old MASHAM STAR finishing 4th.

Two winners from David and a few places in first 2 days and a couple of Daily Tips beaten literally on the nod is a marked upturn, coincidence with the fact it has rained, just better class racing, the inevitable blip over, far too early to say, but nothing breeds success like confidence and we will try again today.

It has the feel to me of a trickier day at Goodwood, and precious little elsewhere; so we will have a dabble at Stratford too.

David has suggested 1/2 point each way stakes, that is his call, I have absolutely no reason to challenge and argue with that and when a Tipster finds form, best in my humble opinion to let them get on with it.

Elite tips and analysis in the opening 2 races on The Card at Goodwood and a couple of 1/4 point pokes in the final race at Stratford and a "Patent" there in the previous 2 races on the Card.
