Tuesday 19th March

Good morning;

A very encouraging start to the Irish Flat season for Sean yesterday with only the 3/1 favourite Chazzesme preventing a near clean sweep for selections with Smooth Tom runner up, Casanova 4th and San Aer 6th, with Speculator having the 3rd placed UK raider Raadobarg for good measure. Not a bad effort in a 20 runner handicap. Not such a good outcome for Michael in the following 23 runner race, although he did have a handy 3rd place at 22/1 SP for his top tip Magical Charm.

With small fields at Exeter and Wetherby over Jumps today and the only 2 races with more than 8 runners both looking to be very tight top end of the betting market affairs and with no real confidence in any each way value visible at bigger prices, we'll take a pull and wait for tomorrow.

We'll cover off the full Cheltenham Results over the next 2 days by splitting the fully analysed Handicaps out and looking at them tomorrow and then the non Handicaps on Thursday. Today we'll have an overall look at the 4 days and some thoughts about the meeting and also our general lay out and how we plan to develop the big-meeting offer in future. These will tie in with some pretty significant changes overall for the 2024 UK Flat season once it really kicks off early in April.
