A nice Handicap Hurdle over 2 miles and 3 furlongs; 17 declared but 2 non runners but CORAL seem to be betting

to 4th place still as an enhanced race. The trip does not seem ideal in the mud for a few at the top end of the market so we will trust our

judgement again here in TRIPLE CHIEF - won a Hurdle for us in November off a mark of 100 here; won a Chase for us last time out off a

mark of 106, so a rise up to 108 and back over hurdles with Bryony again riding for her dad does not look too bad a mark. Of the remainder

the Emma Lavelle trained BALIBOUR looks a big danger at a nice price and whilst it is hard to fathom the best trip for the horse, he should

find this better than the shorter he has tried, and the longer one indicate he will have stamina reserves some don't have at the end. I would

also point out MARTABOT - can pull but a tongue tie and a visor again tried, clearly has an engine and will ensure good pace for the tips

to work off; but not inconceivable it can't slip this field and score, or at least hold on to a place, with short run in from last and that infernal

path that can put many off for a stride or two, so one for a few bob and the Tricast.
