Downpatrick 3.10 Ulster National 3 miles 4 1/2 furlongs - 15 run (maximum number) Soft going and reserves so enhanced Odds on show are guaranteed The winner last year Amaulino tries again but much tougher than last year and I think a repeat unlikely. Jimmll from the in form Gavin Cromwell yard won nicely last time but is up a stone, a hor...Read More
THURLES 2.40 Handicap Hurdle - 2 miles 6 1/2 furlongs - 16 run The market leaders here are Goulane Jessie, Johnny Little Legs and big dangers are Fourina and Sport Yankee, the latter if only because of the Yard he comes from. All have strong chances but i don't think great value over this trip. Memory Of Youth is the toughest one to quantify a...Read More
SEAN - Dundalk 3.30 The one I most like here is GETGO a Course and Distance winner, decent enough draw, race fit and a Course specialist who runs off a nice mark and looks capable of placing at least and one who is due a win. Of the remainder in a competitive little race, the biggest improver of handicap debut after a couple of runs...Read More
An intriguing little race that I have fully analysed. I wish to take on the pair at the top of the market in Donald Dux and Oxford Blu. Both are clearly big dangers but a bit shorter than possibly the form to date warrants and I'm not sure the potential the market sees is particularly strong. Farmer Boy is a Course and Distance winner fro...Read More
Always a deep and competitive race almost at the end of the week and a frenetic pace usually over 2 miles and a few yards with a field this time of 20.Can be a race that throws up a real dark horse and at a big price but I'm darned if I can find one here in what looks a fairly poor renewal of the race.Gino Trail will be of interest as now with Ferg...Read More
The winning run in Ireland continued yesterday with Space Cadet identified as a 1/2 point Tracker winning at 25/1 having been advised at 33/1. Another Tracker horse was Solar Heat who was advised at 11/1, drifted like the proverbial barge, yet finished 3rd at 25/1. A nice return for those who followed the staking advice. It's rather a shame th...Read More
A decent 3rd place from Our Majella yesterday, may be a bit disappointing for some based on the e-mails; but no Tipster can pick out big priced winners every time they tip and with an ROI of over 50% over a 12 month period, hard to argue that the guy knows his stuff. Sean will be back until at least Thursday as there is an Irish Fixture e...Read More
The situation seems to be deteriorating and it is the Equinox and a day when thoughts would normally turn to summer, hot weather and fun. It's a very strange world we are living in right now and hopefully we can individually and collectively pull through it. A 10/1 winner on the AW at Dundalk with a few jockeys and not much else watching was a...Read More
A great deal of credit goes to Irish Racing Authorities who have tried all possible to have some Racing with maximum adherence to current safety guidelines, hopefully it works. Sean (predominantly) and Ian will be tipping/analysing Irish action at Thurles (tomorrow); Downpatrick (Sunday); Naas (Monday) and Clonmel (Tuesday) and we would hope o...Read More
The Elite Service just missed a place yesterday (unless you took the SkyBet offer to 5th place) and I guess that we should just be grateful that at the moment there is Horse Racing to watch. As long as there is no punitive action against sports requiring a medical presence (on the logic that they may be needed to treat a pandemic) and the numb...Read More
