A Class 6 race over a mile and a half and likely market leaders Myklachi and Dew Pond will be very tough to beat but there may be some each way value in the Ruth Carr trained POINT OF HONOUR on this undulating track. The horse was purchased from Simon Crisford with a ridiculous handicap mark but the promise of finding a level it could win...

Formerly known as The Magnet Cup, this 1mile 2 furlong handicap looks as competitive as ever, as you would expect with the valuable prize-money on offer, and is a race that has been won by subsequent Group performers in the past. It is a race, with many conflicting form-lines with many of these meeting each other on many occasions under a number of...

the 3.30 at Newmarket is another top race on a power packed day, 7 Furlongs and the last 2 days indicate extremes of the draw may have a small advantage but in a field of this quality you can't be writing many off. The Johnston yard is "on fire" the booking of "Dettori" has that typical "Saturday feel" and therefore i cannot leave out VALE OF ...

the 1.45 at Ascot a 5 Furlong Sprint with 20 top class runners there are many with chances but i narrowed down to 2 in whom I have most confidence, the draw is an unknown but I think that EMBOUR who has tended to pull hard over 6 furlongs could be tailor made for this tough 5 furlong trip off a fast pace and looks well drawn and well...

YORK 3.45 - a Class 4 race over 10 and 1/2 furlongs and last 4 runnings have been won by progressive 3 year olds. Ironclad is the sole 3 year old contender today, backed in to 3/1 favourite but I'm happy to take it on. Archie Perkins and Armandiham are handicapped well enough to be competitive here based on overall form but don't jump off the ...

Point of Honour made a decent effort from the front at Ripon yesterday but ended up being swamped in the final Furlong. More moderate low Grade racing today and we will keep stakes and exposure low and have a bash at 2 races, one a tip race and one a Tracker race.Tip and analysis from the in form Michael at Nottingham and a Tracker that we bac...

Start with an apology for "no tips" yesterday, broadband went off on Saturday evening and became clear it was an area fault and with no likliehood of proper service in time to get tips out, so we got message out best we could on website / twitter etc.  A nice win for VALE OF KENT advised at 9/1 on Saturday and Embour ran a nice place too ...

Some outstanding action today and choice was difficult but we have analysis and selections in 3 big field Handicaps. A good week with a big 25/1 winner on Tuesday but I think reducing stakes is way to go today as these races are fun but hard to call. Choice as always is with the "punter". David covers YORK 3.50 (John Smiths Cup) with...

Blown By Wind could not deliver another winner yesterday in a race where not many will have found the winner on any form analysis; Searanger was a non runner when ground did not soften, plenty of rain up north next week and this one remains of major interest and tracked. Good and competitive Racing today at Ascot, Chepstow; Chester; Ffos Llas;...

No tips yesterday but the 2 Tracker horses ran very well with MR STRUTTER winning at 9/1 and Padura Brave just missing a place at 12/1. Always the "should have been a tip" comments when a Tracker wins, but they are what they are and doing well overall, for those who like a smaller overall stake as per instructions. Racing today at Do...
