Those that followed the enhanced odds to 5th on Russian Bill and backed Cherif De L'Isle each way yesterday at the Odds advised and at SP will have had a decent each way return at Navan. The other race was less successful though with School Lane just missing a place in 5th.It is something of a surprise that we have some turf NH Racing today, especially when you see some of the terrible flooding in parts of Wales, the Midlands, Yorkshire and elsewhere. Carlisle stage an all Hurdle Card as the Cha... [Read More]

A horse racing day probably best forgotten yesterday as perhaps the Sport should not have raced in such conditions. Thankfully the highest rated chaser Cyrname survived a crashing and tired fall and despite losing a good horse on the AW the fact Cyrname got up is a massive blessing for connections but the Sport as a whole. The Elite Service tips got stuck in the mud, like so many horses but the Daily Tips did what is the basic requirement and delivered a bit of each way overall profit on th... A 3rd place and a bit of loose change profit for the tip yesterday on an awful day of Racing. The action today at Ascot; Haydock and Wincanton (now abandoned) is absolute top drawer, add in Gowran Park and a couple of AW Fixtures. The fly in the ointment in a period where the relentless rain over the past 3-4 months allied to storm force winds is STORM DENNIS. Haydock have indicated the Going is OK to race but are wary of high winds later on. Ascot which is provisionally ON and hopeful... [Read More]

NH at Fakenham survives the weather today, Sandown is abandoned. The Going at all NH venues tomorrow is already "Heavy" and what survives will really depend on how soon and with what rainfall STORM DENNIS arrives. If there is meaningful action we will have Elite and Daily Tips for you.We have a Tip and Tracker today from Michael at Fakenham [Read More]

Unfortunately we again lost the Card at Punchestown yesterday after some significant snowfall in Ireland. The Card at Hereford today was abandoned at around 7.00am due to unsafe patches of waterlogged Ground that could not be by-passed. We will keep fingers crossed for NH at CLONMEL and LEICESTER tomorrow. We go to KEMPTON for an AW tip tonight (PLEASE NOTE IF LEICESTER / CLONMEL are Abandoned tomorrow and the news is out before 8.00am there will be NO TIPS tomorrow, if ... Good Morning;NO SELECTIONS TODAY!Good to see that the Fixture at Punchestown abandoned yesterday will be re-staged TOMORROWWe will of course re-visit the selected races from yesterday and re-analyse but another example of how Irish Racing can make quick fast and pragmatic decisions that make UK look like buffoons in comparison.Plumpton race today but likely to be very Heavy and nothing of real value stands out and the AW Card at Wolverhampton is dire.We did look at Course Specialist DING DING in... No surprise that Exeter has had to be called off in the midst of the worst Storm apparently for 5 years, Haldon is in the middle of a wood on the top of a hill, so a bit of a no-brainer to abandon. Punchestown is ON and Sean will focus on The Irish Grand national Trial and a look at the 3 mile Handicap Hurdle. ZANZA delivered a 25/1 place for those who took the staking advice to use one of 3-4 Bookies going odds to 6th in the big race yesterday. Only beaten 2 lengths in a bunch finish ... [Read More]

The "win saver" did just that for us yesterday with Imperial Elysian winning at Kempton where the tip Dollinax disappointed. Kilfilum Cross ran a nice race to be runner up and Albertos Dream just missed a place. David covers the big Handicap Hurdle at Newbury today for Elite Service and we have tips and analysis from The Advisor at Uttoxeter and Placespotter at Warwick on a day with some decent competitive racing. Interesting to note that the going is reported Good to Soft at Warwick and He... [Read More]

A poor return yesterday and the gradual shift to Good to Soft and Good Going, although it may be short term is something we need to factor in to calculations. There are 3 AW Meetings today but 2 decent and competitive NH Fixtures with some nice field sizes at Bangor On Dee and Kempton. We have 1 tip and a number of tRackers. On this occasion (as we will explain in the analysis) a couple of the Trackers were close to being tips but until we rediscover top form, will stake a little more ... [Read More]

Sad to read yesterday of the death of former Jockey James Banks who was found dead at his home in Gloucestershire. Never a star name but a highly competent jockey who could win on the right horse on the right day and thoughts go to his friends and family. No joy yesterday tip wise and today there is NH at Market Rasen and Sedgefield and AW at Kempton. We have a tip from Robin at Market Rasen, one he really fancies and also some Tracker thoughts on a race at Sedgefield. A couple of enhanced places yesterday from a tip and a tracker delivered a nice each way profit with both horses at decent double figure odds both when advised and at SP. There are just the 2 meetings today over Jumps at Carlisle and AW at Wolverhampton and very little to enthuse over. Michael has looked long and hard at the 3 mile Novice chase at Carlisle and come up with a sporting each way tip. We were a shade unlucky not to pick up a nice profit yesterday, instead of a small one as ON THE ROAD just missed out at Chepstow in a thrilling finish. The omission of the final fence, the fact that our horse just had to readjust slightly to navigate between that omitted fence and the final hurdle and the clear head on evidence that the winner veered and took On The Road markedly over to the Stands rail all possibly mitigating factors. However, a cracking race and a place instead of a win.... [Read More]

A nice win for Worthy Farm yesterday, it was available at 9/2 early and regularly and only retracted to 3/1 near start time, no great price but in a quiet spell of opportunity any winner is a positive so we move on to today. One selected race today at Chepstow as the Catterick Card is short on runners and Robin has cast his eye over the 2.55 race and found 2 horses who he thinks will run well for us today who have done well for us before.Robin also has a couple to watch with a longer term T... The loss of the NH Card at Hereford leaves a poor small field NH Card at Leicester which is easy to swerve, so our first visit in a while to the AW at Kempton and a could of low Grade Handicaps that close the Card where Gary believes he has found some e/w value especially with enhanced Odds to 4th from all major Bookies with 14 runners!!.  These are classed as TRACKERS (so not in Members Paddock) and are 1/2 point each way punts. There is NH today at Newcastle, Lingfield and Down Royal and some AW action too. The Irish venue, one of only 2 Tracks in Ulster is not a regular on the Calendar and not at all a favourite of Sean, so we will by pass a reasonably competitive Card there and have a look at a decent Class 3 Chase at Newcastle over just under 3 miles.Tips and Analysis are from Robin  [Read More]

Good MorningWe've had a thorough look at every race today over the Jumps at Kelso and Plumpton and on AW at Wolverhampton and nothing really stands out as value.Looks like a day where market leaders will dominate and hard to find anything outside top 4-5 in the market in bigger field mostly younger horse races over sticks, or of e/w value in the smaller field races. We will abstain for the day and have a look tomorrow where the Card at Newcastle has a potentially decent looking Class 3 Chase over... A poor day yesterday for both Elite and Daily Tips, been a fair while since either Daily or Elite had a complete blank on a Saturday but we dust down and move on. NH today at Fontwell, Sedgefield and Naas and although some competitive races it's mostly low grade and nothing can really be tipped with confidence. It is a day where a number of horses though jump out of the Trackers and although again a bit of a "leap of faith" required, there is an angle we can explore for a few quid... A satisfactory day again yesterday as the "win saver" Supreme Escape won the tip race at Doncaster, followed home by the sole Tip Dubh Des Champs, that pair were well clear and in third was one of the Tracker/Tricast selections Lord Getaway.  That delivered win and each way profit and for those that had a small Tricast Perm a return of £128.66 and if you played the Trifecta instead an even better £212.50.  Elsewhere one of the 2 Trackers, Mr Palmtree was placed at Hunt... The Thyestes delivered a Tracker winner with Total Recall emerging from the fog to win at 16/1 and a placed tip (as pretty much every Bookie apart from the thieves at Bet 365) paying out to 5th place where Roaring Bull finished. A decent result all round. NH today at Doncaster and Huntingdon, both reported Good to Soft > Soft after a drier spell and some decent lower Grade competitive races and a number of horses coming out after longish gaps, probably what we'd call "spring types".&nbsp... It's nice to be back and whilst the lack of tips on Tuesday was announced and planned, the lack of tips yesterday was due to me having to stay in hospital for an extra night and although we did get a message up on Twitter, sorry for any inconvenience. Back to normal today and for the foreseeable future. The highlight today is one of those big Irish Chases that just "roll off the tongue" THE THYESTES a race in which we have an excellent record, so over to Sean for this thoughts and tips... A shame that Talkofgold was a non runner yesterday although the Tracker in that race (Casual Cavalier) ran a decent place at nice odds of 17/2. McGintys Dream also ran a nice place at 8/1 (advised 12/1) in the 4.00 at Ayr. The best run undoubtedly came from Nobody Home over at Thurles, just failing to get up at 20/1 (advised 33/1) in a race where Hash Brown failed to place but continues to show signs that a long overdue win could be just round the corner.    Today is another ... A decent day yesterday with an excellent 1-3 in the big race at Haydock with Vintage Clouds and Geronimo for David and The Elite Service. The Daily Tips found the well backed Silva Eclipse (well backed after stable mate Vintage Clouds won the big race) to win also at Haydock and Murratello would probably have won too in another 50 yards. Only Ballymoy really disappointed so some nice overall profit.  NH today at Thurles and Ayr and AW at Wolverhampton. We have a tip and ... [Read More]

NH action today at Ascot and Haydock where the Heavy Going has meant smaller fields than ideal but nonetheless some good substantiated Heavy Going form to fall back on. There is also NH at Taunton and Navan and AW at Lingfield and Chelmsford. ELITE will focus on The Peter Marsh Chase at Haydock and we have 3 Daily selections with a pair at Haydock and one at Ascot.  Prices are very likely to fluctuate today as Heavy Going form is found and plunges occur. The analysis from Michael of the 2.55 at Ludlow yesterday was pretty good with the 5/1 advised LEGENDS GOLD being heavily backed to win what looked on paper a very competitive Mares Hurdle. The runs of the 2 Trackers (non investment) who we planned to follow Ziggy Rose and Whos The Boss in to 2nd and 4th may have blown tier cover in terms of market value in next few runs but an excellent piece of analysis nonetheless and 2 horses who look like future winners. Compadre was frankly ...
