Good Morning; A poor day yesterday. You can't legislate for a pair of well fancied and well back horses finishing stone last, and near stone last. In both instances there were legitimate reasons reported by Jockey's afterwards, Smeatin anticipated the start and banged it's head on the stalls and lost many lengths and Percy Street apparently swallowed some mud and gurgled. Genuine excuses, but in the Tipping world, excuses are just that excuses. A lot of runners today on ... Good MorningThere is nothing more frustrating, other than not winning, than non-runners and we seem to have had a few lately, with the quietly fancied Big Gossey at The Curragh yesterday the latest. Primos Comet ran a solid place at Musselburgh although the usual Draw bias did not come in to play as it has done so many times recently, certainly not as well for us as at the last meeting there. Some competitive if moderate fare today and we will try out luck on the Flat up at Hamilton, n... So near and yet so far yesterday, those that followed the advice to back to 8th place with Sky or 7th with PP yesterday will have had a decent enough each way return with Bell Rock 3rd at 10/1, Dubai Mirage 5th at 16/1 and Anythingtoday 7th at 18/1 in The Cambridgeshire. The only tip that didn't deliver something was the token low draw tip Montatham. I know a small few read the advice and made their own decision about the Draw and had a few quid on the 40/1 winner Majestic Dawn hi... An ultimately frustrating day yesterday that hinged on one of those "what happened next" Races at Uttoxeter. The selection Drumreagh ran an excellent race, up with the pace for almost all of the near 3 miles, just tired 2 out but was staying on well in 3rd when the 2 horses who led in to the last met trouble, the leader falling and badly hampering the runner up, that in turn affect Drumreagh against the far rail, but it recovered momentum and seemingly led towards the line, only to be colla... Good MorningA bit of a frustration that even with 3 reserves that the field at Listowel was decimated somewhat yesterday but nothing wrong with the analysis or tips really as Bashyir, advised when 14/1 was runner up, just beaten by a much shorter priced horse when there was a ful betting market, and if any of the bookies did honour 4th place bets after the n/r carnage, then a few lucky souls would have picked up a nice each way return on Melburnian who finished 4th at 20/1, advised at 22/1.&nbsp... A classic example of how the ebbs and flows of luck can impact on Racing, especially National Hunt over at Listowel yesterday. Spyglass Hill is basically a relentless one pace galloper who was just taking closer order and running in to the leading group when badly hampered by a melee at the 10th fence, involving another selection (Internal Transfer who fell); so all chance pretty much wiped out as Spyglass Hill never regained momentum (reported by Rachel Blackmore) and was wisely pulled up 3 fen... Good MorningA bit of a case of famine to feast today with some competitive low level Flat Handicaps in the UK at Redcar and Goodwood, a decent NH Card at Perth , AW at Kempton and a cracking NH Fixture at Listowel headlined by The Kerry National.Sean tips and analyses the Kerry National at 4.30 and we have an eye on one too at Perth [Read More]

NO TIPS / TRACKERS today Jubilympics ran well enough yesterday, just tying up coming to the last after looming into contention. The horse will no doubt benefit from the run and should certainly be tracked on next few outings. Quinto ran a fine race, just holding on for 4th and a place at an SP of 16/1, so a 1 point net profit on the day overall. We've looked at all the Turf Fixtures in the UK and Ireland today and really can find nothing of value to back with confidence at an each... Good MorningThere is some competitive action today at Leicester and Hamilton on the Flat and at Fairyhouse and listowel over in Ireland plus AW fodder at Wolverhampton, but we will focus on a very decent NH Card at Warwick, where 474 spectators will be allowed to watch the Racing as part of the Government Pilot Scheme to get spectators back in to  Elite Sport Venues under very strict controls and restrictions. I know from chatting to Ian, who has overseen a similar crowd at a Spee... A read back of the analysis of yesterday Bronze Cup selections made painful reading with the ultimate winner and runner up both heavily featured. As we said though on such days the analysis being right is a bigger and better long term pointer than the final selections being wrong. That will be cold comfort to those who understandably base judgement on the results only, but if the analysis is right, it is a more accurate pointer to long term success and profit. It would be nice though t... We had a nice winner yesterday with Garden Oasis, backed in to 5/1 from the advised 8/1 and I would certainly track Irv too off a declining mark in the coming weeks. In the other race Vintage Rose went too fast far too soon and predictably blew up a fair way from home whilst Maulsden May simply never got into the race. That's another horse though that I have a hunch could pop up when the moos takes it at any time at big Odds. Plenty of Racing today but nothing really stands out at Catterick... [Read More]

We have some competitive action today and will focus on Handicaps at Ayr and Pontefract. It's the first day at the main annual Flat Ayr Meeting, so be very interesting to watch and learn today on the straight Course in preparation for the big Bronze; Silver and Gold Cup Sprints over the next few days. There is also Racing at Tramore; Naas; Yarmouth and Chelmsford. Some speculative punts in a few Handicaps from The Advisor at Pontefract and Michael at Ayr. We can't start without passing on our sincere condolences to the family and friends of the great Irish Jockey Pat Smullen who passed away yesterday aged 43 after a brace battle against pancreatic Cancer. A great Jockey whose abilities were highly regarded worldwide and a thoroughly decent man out of the saddle too. RIP Pat, the Racing world is definitely poorer without you. The actual Racing is moderate quality today, a lot of same age 2 and 3 year old Races on the Flat in the UK and I... [Read More]

Upstaging nicked a bit of place money yesterday for those who took Odds to 4th place, had every chance but didn't go through with effort yet again. There is not much to enthuse over at Yarmouth or Redcar on the Flat today, nor Kempton or over at Tipperary, but Robin is keen to explore some value in an Handicap Hurdle up at Hexham having found a 1-2 at 16/1 and 14/1 SP at Fontwell on Saturday. A fine run from the reserve Blairmayne yesterday, it ran on very well into 2nd place at 25/1 and had it just gotten out of the pocket on the rail a few yards earlier from behind Royal Canford, it may have made all the difference. Old favourite Mr Lupton though got first run and wasn't going to be caught close home. In the other race Numrian clipped heels a few furlongs out, just lost a bit of momentum and finished 8th, definitely one for the Trackers after that. A small overall loss on the ... [Read More]

Good MorningAfter a disappointing start to the day in The Portland when none of the selections really ran true to form, for whatever reason we may never know, it was unlimited success for the other selections. Robin had an excellent big priced 1-2 in the 2.50 at Fontwell with Zoltan Varga and Vorashann at 14/1 and 16/1 SP and an Exacta of over £300 and then Placespotter had a 1-2-3- in the 4.35 at Musselburgh where the high draw bias analysis proved to be very accurate. Good MorningIt's a bit of a lop-sided day with Doncaster dominating with The St Leger and the Portland Handicap (covered by Elite Service in the usual excellent detail) but very little else of note. So we'll focus on The Portland with David for Elite, have a bash at the 5 furlong Handicap at Musselburgh and also a small dabble over the sticks down at Fontwell Park. [Read More]

A nice winning return for Michael yesterday with Tawaafoq getting up close home to win, having been advised at 6/1. The other tip in the race Red Bravo just grabbed an enhanced 4th place finish on the line. His other selection Kinglami made noticeable late progress from the back, got badly outpaced early on better than ideal Going, one to put in the notebook to run a big race on genuinely soft Ground before the end of the Flat season. At Haydock Ugo Gregory, advised at 9/1 finished 3rd, not... [Read More]

Some moderate if competitive racing away from Doncaster today and the Yorkshire venue focuses mainly on decent 2 and 3 year old same age races. We'll therefore look at some competitive lower Grade Handicaps at Chepstow and Haydock. We welcome Michael back after an extended break, confidence restored in some impressive "paper proofing" and a fine tuning of his methods. Tips from The Advisor at Haydock and from Michael in 2 races at Chepstow [Read More]

A nice win for Sean's Tracker Gold Spear yesterday but the staking somewhat spoilt the celebration with 2 tips unplaced leaving no profit margin. The pair at Catterick disappointed too. Lots of Racing today but some significant all age 2 and 3 year old Flat Races at various venus, the somewhat "quirky" Legends Race and some tough handicaps lead us to focus on one race at Doncaster. Start of a few days there and we'll seek to earn today about any Draw, Going or Track bias. Nothing ... [Read More]

Good Morning A very close call in the 1.30 at York yesterday where Anythingtoday and Sucellus, both advised at 14/1 narrowly missed out finishing second and third in a blanket finish, some nice each way profit that could have been significantly better. Less joy in the other race although those who had the suggested win saver, won't be too disappointed. We've looked at all 5 Fixtures today, very mediocre and nothing really stands out. It looks like one of those days where the top o... [Read More]

A nice 14/1 winner yesterday for The Advisor with Documenting and a good place for David with Diocletian, again if we were being picky trackers could have been Tips, as a few have pointed out, but Staking is for guidance only and differentiates our confidence in the tip or tracker. Good MorningA shade of frustration when a horse flagged up as "one to watch" in HEWICK won over in Ireland where Don't Let Go and Galuppi ultimately disappointed. Good MorningA nice win and place for Sean yesterday with Ultra Pride, who was advised when readily available at 10-11/1 winning at 6/1 and Castletownshend coming home 3rd for a nice bit of net profit. A lot of Racing to consider today at Ascot; Haydock and Thirsk especially, also AW at Kempton, Jumping at Sedgefield and Irish action at Down Royal (Flat) and Kilbeggan (jumps). We had planned something in the 3.30 at Thirsk but that does seem to be an unfathomable puzzle and focused on t... The natural reaction of many when you have winners at 100/1 and 40/1 in races that you have tips in is to just make excuses and claim "lucky winners". At SP2A we have made a nice habit of being the service that finds those big priced winners often enough for it not to be a fluke, so our mindset immediately defaults to "how did we miss that". There are occasions like yesterday though where you have to hold your hands up and say that we could never have spotted any latent form to justify tipping t... [Read More]

Good MorningA nice win for Soupy Soups over the JUmps on Sunday and Graystown picked up an enhanced place in 4th too in the tip race. Flat at Ripon and Hamilton today and both Cards look distinctly moderate and tricky as does AW at Kempton, so we will stick with NH Racing for today and a tip/tracker and analysis of the 5.00 Handicap Hurdle at Newton Abbot. A lot of non runners on the Flat yesterday and it could be the same today at Goodwood and Yarmouth in fields of moderate numbers already. There are some competitive NH races and decent field sizes at Perth, so as we approach the meteorological end of Summer, let's go Jumping. The Going is Good to Soft, there is a drying Northerly wind, so no excuses ground wise, it'll be perfect Jumping ground, not too form, bit of cut, ideal for summer and winter types. Robin is interested in 2 races.... Good MorningA poor day at Beverley yesterday, plenty of Racing today, I doubt Goodwood and Fontwell have ever race at the same time before but these are strange times and with co crowds, neighbouring Tracks in different Codes can co-habit quite nicely. The NH Card at Fontwell was of more interest to be honest than either Goodwood or Newmarket, but we will go over the what could be a very wet Curragh for the big race of the days and tips from Sean.
