A very impressive win by SKARDU yesterday and looks likely to be one to watch in The Guineas the way it quickened up and stayed on and clearly loves the rack. A nice return for Ian who will be back for Guineas weekend. We had a couple pf nice placed finishes from from FIRST ASSIGNMENT and BE PERFECT; so a bit of profit too from those. Nothing of enough confidence to tip at Newmarket and Cheltenham today, so we will go to RIPON for a tip and a couple of Trackers at Newmarket and Chelten... VERY SORRY FOR WEBSITE OUTAGE THIS MORNING - SERVER related and outside of our control but now fixed (as at 11:45M)A couple of placed horses yesterday but frustration at Exeter where the 2 unexposed dangers came 1st and 2nd and the tips 3rd and 4th, a nice Tricast to any who had it and good analysis, but in both races tips didn't get the wins we really wanted, at least they were not out with the washing. Day 2 at Newmarket today and Ian casts his eye over The Craven, we have tips from The A... Opening day of 2019 Flat season at Newmarket has come around very quickly, Good to Firm Going a marked contrast to last year and will suit lot more horses, the very cold spell means the 2 and 3 year olds may be best watched for now until they come in to their coats. There is an all aged 6 Furlong handicap to attack at 1.50 + the return of an old friend! At Exeter there has been some steady rain not significant but may just make it Good to Soft, no excuses for the Good or the Soft ground hor... There is a good Flat Card at Newbury today but most of the races are for the 3 year old generation. Very early in Flat season, so rather watch and learn both for ongoing form and any Ground/Draw Bias for bigger races tomorrow. Ayr and Fontwell race over Jumps and we have 2 tips at Ayr and 1 at Fontwell. There is the usual AW too tonight; this week at Kempton.Tips today are from Michael and The Advisor at Ayr and from Robin at Fontwell. Although no tips yesterday the 2 Tracker horses th... Good MorningNo Tip selections today.A couple of nice Trackers to note, two worth a small investment.A disappointing day yesterday, no hiding place, both Pulled Up after racing prominently and making jumping errors. Big NH Card at Ayr next 2 days and what's always a cracking Newbury Flat Meeting for tomorrow and probably 3 Tips.  On Saturday Elite will focus on Scottish National and other good Racing that day. Flat Turf at Nottingham today, jumping at Warwick and two run of the mill AW Fixtures at Lingfield and Kempton. Those that took the enhanced 4th place with BUCKLAND BEAU (William Hill) will have had a nice return yesterday at 25/1 and Tracker follors may have had a nice touch with WATER WAGTAIL placed at big odds, but disappointing runs by Heluvagood and Halloween Harry and Saturdaynightfever meant a losing day. A couple of big priced Flat horses in the Tracker (in the same 3.35 race a... A disappointing Grand national for us in many ways, Aintree was not kind to us after an excellent March and the few days recharge I think wise and needed. We will start to focus on Flat, keeping an eye on Jumping and Tips will be when confident and Tracker will start to pick out some Flat types to watch as well as summer jumpers. We will look for 2-3 tips a day but if there is not enough confidence in them from Tipsters, may be less. There are 3 we are quietly confident about toda... Frustrating day after rain softened ground more than expected at Aintree yesterday, both runners in big race late non-runners (makes me think they are being saved for a bigger day in Ireland or elsewhere and not risked) no joy in the Foxhunters, meanwhile Supersundae who The Advisor fancied won at nice Odds and Moon Over Germany, seen as a big danger before the non runners also won. A missed opportunity kind of day. The rain will have been welcomed by National runners and we have taken in t... [Read More]

The focus is on Aintree today, there is a moderate NH Card at Taunton and the usual AW for the AW brigade. We will focus on Aintree, a meeting that was about one race, stretched to 3 days when 2 would probably be better and probably too soon after Cheltenham, I think 2-3 weeks more break would make the meeting! Focus is on the 2 bigger field races today. A win for Michael yesterday Earlofthecotswolds backed in from 9/2 to 9/4, a runner up for The Advisor with Paint the Dream at 6/1 and... [Read More]

National Hunt at Ascot and Limerick and an incredibly tough Card at Doncaster  today. We started the Flat season with a winner from Michael at Doncaster, found a runner up and third from Robin at Stratford, and a fast finishing placed horse from David at Doncaster for the Elite tips. The Tipsters all swerve Doncaster today, not hard to look at those field sizes, look at the pace angles and firming Going we saw yesterday and possibly think that at this early stage of the Flat seaso... Awful quality Racing today, poor quantity too, so a NO TIP day. There is NH at Fontwell + Wetherby and AW at Lingfield, Newcastle + Dundalk. We talked all round result in tip race yesterday, Michael expressed "no surprise" if eventual 1-2-3 finished in that order, one tip was 4th, bit of e/w frustrating, but a few mailed re Tricast; well done. The Advisor looked a log time at 2.10 at Fontwell but can't split pair of Moores CD winners at 6/1 not real value for a... National Hunt all the way again today but more moderate quality, rapidly drying ground a poser?. Kilcrea Bridge ran OK yesterday to place 8/1 in a race with surprise winner but The Last Bridge who placed at 50/1 would not have been a surprise to followers of the "in form" Advisor, who kept things ticking over. We have just the one tip again today, waiting for better quality racing at weekend and keeping the profits safe and dry for now. National Hunt today at Chepstow; Haydock and Market Rasen, drying ground everywhere means may be that tacky pudding for a few days. Some nice fields today but low grade and mindful we don't fritter away significant recent wins and good profits. EDDY ran OK yesterday, never looked like winning though and a lesson for a day like today not to dive in. We will limit ourselves to one TIP, who is nearly a stone "well in" on some recent form and a number of Trackers for consideration.The... The day was dominated by the lady jockey's and the win of Frodon and Bryony Frost will long live in the memory.
