A fair few of these come off their summer breaks and may just need this race fitness and sharpness wise.

 

Old Jewry and Coral Blue for Darragh Burke who were both in the 2021 season Tracker and Burke as a Trainer come off 109 and 158 days respectively and it's a yard to keep an eye on as it's steadily improving. Rubytwo comes off a 154 day break for Nicky Richards and is about as frustrating and difficult to catch right as are most of the yards horses!. Navegeon Gate for Nigel Twiston-Davies who has has some wonderful spells here is another who should improve off a 174 days break on future runs.

 

Petite Rhapsody has to should top weight after a very productive spell ad together with Calliope and Lough Carra head the market and admittedly look very strong. I can't split them and they aren't really each way value so I'll have a small T/Cast perm to cover them off as they could well finish 1-2-3.

 

The one who did tick every box for me on the day though is DAN GUN. It's been running over 2 miles and 6 furlongs and just run out of steam in the closing stages, the drop back in trip looks ideal and the break of 2 months looks more of a benefit than a hindrance. Today may be just the right day to catch a few of these and I'll be disappointed if we don't pick up some nice each way place money at least.

 

At BIG Odds don't entirely rule out FILOU DES ISSARDS @ 80/1  and HATTAAB @ 40/1 if you want a small fun flutter. The former is an ex Phillip Hobbs inmate and one of those i flagged popped up at nice odds last week and the latter has a few glimmers of form too.
