Time Leader ran a bold race at Aintree in the Foxhunter as did the other selections in the race, but was found wanting at the finish but managed a place. What it told us about the "Going" was possibly not as valid as what it told us about the fact that you can't go too fast too soon round this Course and that Jumping and rhythm are key. No joy at Taunton and two non runners at Limerick, although the one that did run who was advised at 40/1 finished in an enhanced 5th at 18/1, not a bad run and if you were still paid to 5th, a small return on that specific race.

 

With a couple of NH Fixtures abandoned today and small fields at Fakenham and AW at Dundalk, we'll focus on the two big field handicaps at Aintree.
