It's a distant memory now that this time last year everyone was bemoaning a lack of rain, small fields and most NH Trainers doing rain dances.
Fast forward a year and Cheltenham, which has fantastic drainage is hit by a deluge and abandons Day 1 of the Open Meeting.
Hopefully tomorrows Card will pass a 3pm Inspection today, I think it may be a decision that drags on to tomorrow morning though!
That leaves us with Newcastle and Southwell, 2 tracks associated now with AW that stage NH Meetings, at least Newcastle has a great tradition in the NH sphere and a couple of long distance races in soft Going for us to attack.
It's been a very quiet and not very successful week since a great result last Saturday so we will keep everything crossed for tomorrow and Sunday.
