A disappointing day yesterday with Rokhamtom failing to deliver on expected potential and Hepburn making a bold but ultimately unsuccessful attempt from the front at Chepstow.

 

There are NH Cards today at Newbury, where some significant rain is possible and at Musselburgh, who stage 3 Finals of Season Long Northern Racing initiatives. The Card there looks fiendishly tricky and despite long looks by all of our UK Tipsters on a race each, a view that they are simply too tough to call on a very trappy and pace biased Course at the best of time.

 

The return of AW with 3 Fixtures on the eve of the Turf Flat season in the UK and with it up and running in Ireland offers no interest today.

 

Better to keep the powder dry and to ease in the Turf Flat and enjoy the prospect of some excellent NH in the UK and Ireland still to come in the next 4-5 weeks.

 

With UK Flat starting tomorrow at Doncaster, an interesting Irish Flat Card at Navan and a couple of interesting NH Handicaps at Kelso and Newbury, we will wait for tomorrow with probable Tip races from David for Elite Service in the UK, and Daily Tips and Analysis from Sean in Ireland, and at least 2 more races in the UK on the Flat or NH.
