Friday 8th January

Good Morning;

After a long look at the AW Cards at Dundalk and Southwell our AW Tipster has decided NO tips or selections at Tracks that are not really on his expertise list.

The AW Fixtures at Lingfield and Newcastle are not bona fide AW Fixtures but NH Bumper Races, hastily arranged for NH horses, best description I've heard for them comes from Ian who calls them "public schooling and fitness sessions" and definitely not a sensible betting proposition.

A disappointing day for our tips yesterday, first time an AW tipster selection didn't win or place, although the win / ew banker did win it was NOT a tip as such. No doubt though he has made a very good start and at just the right time due to this mini-freeze.

The temperatures look set to rise considerably from Monday, I suspect we'll lose a lot of the key races tomorrow but fingers crossed for Chepstow, Fairyhouse and Wincanton who all Inspect today, at the moment Kempton looks the most likely to survive over Jumps, and there is a decent AW Card at Lingfield that I'm sure we'll have tips from.

No doubt David will be hoping Chepstow is ON for his Welsh National tips although there may be a couple of big Handicap races at Kempton (if on) that will get the Elite treatment and David is currently in Red Hot form.

Back tomorrow then with tips out by around 9.00am and in the meantime stay safe and stay warm.
