A 4th and an enhanced widely available 5th place finish from the 2 main selections yesterday was on the scale of the minimum of expectations but not a disaster. With the weather slowly improving we get National Hunt at Exeter and Punchestown today and a couple of fairly competitive Handicaps to attack at the back ends of the respective Cards. It's not great quality so caution in staking is suggested. We've sought out some mud lovers with proven stamina on decent handicap marks.
