Monday 6th January
Good Morning;
No joy in the sole tip race at Naas yesterday with the race being won by a horse returning off a 541 days break, there was a little bit of promising form prior to the lay off but I would not class it in the "one that got away" category by any means. The Chepstow Card was abandoned after 2 races and Plumpton was a late abandonment after passing first Inspection.
Today Ayr is currently ON, Ludlow is OFF and there is a very poor AW Card at Wolverhampton.
The field sizes at AYR are small and although there is a 10 runner and a couple of 9 runner races we collectively think there may be a glut on non-runners due to transport issues. There is heavy snow north of Manchester on the M6 up into the west of Scotland and the main trans-pennine routes from East to West across Cumbria which would lead into the the far South West of Scotland are currently blocked with snow.
So we will ABSTAIN today!.
The Hereford Meeting tomorrow has to be in donut but it is one of the best draining tracks and if as seems likely there is a rapid snow-melt then who knows. There is an AW Card at Wolverhampton tomorrow which we will consider very closely between final Entries and tomorrow morning. There would currently be high hopes that the Taunton Card on Wednesday will be ON!
There is ONE TRACKER at Ayr
Ayr 1.00 Ideal De Romay.

Back tomorrow morning before 8am with more news and hopefully some tips.
