Saturday 4th December

A modicum of each way success in the main race yesterday with Storm Force Ben finishing 3rd, Dancing Shadow a very brave 4th after going off way too quickly in our opinion and if a few of you did get the 6th place with Sky for Young Offender, then it was a full house of each way returns. It's hard to quantify the form of some as the initial pace was too fast but I suspect plenty of winners will come out of the race, especially with some dropped back a bit in trip and it's one we will come back to again and again I'm sure.

I have to apologise to everyone though for missing a 10/1 winner at Sedgefield, it was laid out on a plate for me by The Advisor , and due to a mis-spelling by me did not flag up on my Tracker. We've gone back and cross checked all similar entries but galling to have missed Cailin Dearg at 10/1 at Sedgefield yesterday after writing this the day after it's last run on the 4th November "Possibly more interesting was the run of Cailin Dearg who was a bit fizzy but rane very well until lack of race fitness told in the closing stages. That run will have put the horse right though and one we'll definitely keep a very close eye on when it comes out again, more than likely in 3-4 weeks time".

There is some great action today, it was tough to leave out a couple of the Sandown races, especially The London National but they aren't exactly big fields on ground still not really on the soft side there, some decent races too at Chepstow but we'll focus on The Beecher Chase at Aintree, which is followed by a competitive Handicap Hurdle and Sean has a pretty big priced fancy at Navan too.
