Saturday 6th April

Night Bear ran a decent place at Lingfield yesterday and Qeyaady wasn't far off an enhanced place at nice Odds and is one to follow. Disappointing though for us at Musselburgh in the Twilight Meeting there over the Jumps. Sadly we weren't able to repeat the two excellent winners of Thursday in Ireland.

It's carnage Saturday in terms of Racing Fixtures with The Curragh joining Kelso and Stratford on the Abandoned list, leaving a small field card at Uttoxeter and AW at Chelmsford and Kempton Park. The Kempton Card is full of decent races but is very much one that I have always thought should be on Turf. I suppose that's open to a fit of laughter since the fact is that if it was on Turf it would not be On, but I do feel it's somewhat sacreligious to move Turf Fixtures to the AW, although some may contend that's the opinion of a dinosaur.

We will look at two AW Races at Kempton, on the basis that they aren't exactly stacked with AW specialist horses, although those with some AW expertise should do very well you'd think, the analysis on this occasion is from The Advisor and myself. We suggest cautious staking given the type of racing.
