Sunday 15th March

The Elite Service just missed a place yesterday (unless you took the SkyBet offer to 5th place) and I guess that we should just be grateful that at the moment there is Horse Racing to watch. As long as there is no punitive action against sports requiring a medical presence (on the logic that they may be needed to treat a pandemic) and the numbers do not anything like indicate that yet, it's possible the sport can keep going, driven by Betting turnover. A crowd limit of 500, lets be honest would be a decent crowd for many tracks at this time of year certainly in the week for most Tracks.

So, "the show must go on" hopefully we can sustain some enjoyment and the opportunity to enjoy Horse Racing and some nice profit.

I do plan to do a review of Cheltenham and a look ahead to the coming months and will finish that today and it will be published in the e-mail tomorrow morning when Jonathon is back in the chair. Let;s just say that despite a profitable week, I really do fear that the sport is becoming dominated by an elite and that I don't think that suits National Hunt Racing as it mirrors what we have seen on the Flat scene for decades.

On to today and with Sean on route back to Ireland and with smaller than hoped for fields at Carlisle which is ON, a full tip/analysis race from The Advisor at Market Rasen.
