Sunday 30th August

A lot of non runners on the Flat yesterday and it could be the same today at Goodwood and Yarmouth in fields of moderate numbers already. There are some competitive NH races and decent field sizes at Perth, so as we approach the meteorological end of Summer, let's go Jumping.

The Going is Good to Soft, there is a drying Northerly wind, so no excuses ground wise, it'll be perfect Jumping ground, not too form, bit of cut, ideal for summer and winter types.

Robin is interested in 2 races.

Those are the selections today. We historically swerve Bank Holiday Mondays. In this weird and strange year nothing has been normal or familiar, but looking at the Cards for tomorrow, nothing really excites, so we will stick to the norm and have a day off.

Back on Tuesday, start of September, a month when as usual we will look forward to some very good Flat Meetings and some historic races and also the start of what we hope will be a long and successful NH season culminating with some form of normality at Cheltenham and Aintree and proper Crowds in the Spring of 2021.

Back on TUESDAY; enjoy the Bank Holiday
