Sunday 31st March

A disappointing day until Mousey brown won at Fairyhouse, advised at 50/1 , some 66/1 about at the time of the mailing and returned a 33/1 SP. Some excellent analysis of that Down Royal win that exposed some hidden evidence that the penalty for it was indeed generous. The win did again expose the hidden fissures that we see when prescriptive Staking leads some to stake less (we know some level stake of their own volition). We have begun to roll out thoughts about Staking and a less prescriptive approach since just before Cheltenham and we will complete this transition with some pretty major changes to how to Stake and also general Tipping advice in the coming week. There are no rights and wrongs here, just genuine personal preferences, so we will again try to simplify!

It's something we've planned to do in the NH > Flat transition and once we have Easter Bank Holiday Meetings out of the way tomorrow, we will be covering this a lot more on TUESDAY and WEDNESDAY.

There are 6 Meetings today but with smallish fields at Ffos Llas and Plumpton, no interest in the AW Fixture at Southwell and not too much to attack at Cork, we'll focus on a race each at Market Rasen and Fairyhouse.

The Irish Grand National will feature tomorrow but with a glut of Bank Holiday Racing , we'll have a couple of tips elsewhere and a Lucky 15 each way accumulator suggestion for a small each way stake.
