Thursday 11th April

It's the first day at Aintree today and with small but admittedly select fields in the first few races more a spectacle for the connoisseurs than a betting medium. There is a big field 2 mile Handicap Hurdle but the most exciting race on the Card is the Foxhunter Hunter Chase at 4.05. This is NOT a handicap race but the Bookmakers are very much treating it like one with Betway going odds to 7 places and a solid chunk of the big Bookies offering odds to 5th place, so we'll clearly focus on the opportunity. It will surely be an informative day in terms of Going and Ground conditions on both Courses and a big help in that regard to watch and learn too for the next 2 days.

We also have tips and analysis in a competitive Handicap Chase at Taunton and a big field handicap Hurdle at Limerick.
