Thursday 1st July

Good Morning

A decent enough run for Star of Athena yesterday to grab a 3rd place at Chepstow.

We have had a long look at both Irish Cards and also AW at Kempton, Flat at Musselburgh and the re-start of the UK jumping at Southwell today but hard to find anything of real value anywhere, a day that looks most suited to market leaders in the races with decent fields and enhanced place options.

It's been a decent enough month for us after lockdown, starting with a few big priced winners, then an excellent Royal Ascot and then a case of trying to find a few nice winners and placed horses amongst the lower quality Racing towards the close of the month.

There is plenty to look forward to in July especially at Epsom, York and Glorious Goodwood on the horizon and over in Ireland, so we will be back starting tomorrow with some Tips and Trackers at the usual time.

No point "guessing" on a quiet day like today.

Back Tomorrow
