A nice win and an excellent Nick Schofield ride to get WIN MY WINGS home at 28/1 at a very muddy Exeter yesterday, it was only a shame that we got the staking the wrong way around as Poker Play was on the back foot from the minute it nearly unshipped Tom Scudamore at the first and then made other jumping errors. I think it's a horse worse persevering with though in better Going and may be somewhere with slightly easier fences, Newton Abbot or Taunton maybe?

 

At Doncaster Getareason ran prominently before fading and is another to keep an eye on in a small race possibly dropped to 18 furlongs whilst GROOVEUR is definitely one to keep onside of, it stayed on noticeably well down the long straight to finish 5th (a few may have got paid something on that) and looks like a step up may be to 2 miles 6 furlongs could definitely see it winning a race.

 

Tracking those that don't win or place but show signs of something can be rewarding mentally and for confidence as well as financially as we saw with BIRD ON THE WIRE yesterday. It had been give a pretty average ride last time and been given too much to do but noted staying on late (similar to Grooveur) and won at 8/1. If we were being picky we'd ask ourselves why it wasn't a tip, we've done that as we always self reflect and it's something for us to take on board. The Trackers that were highlighted for a small accumulator bet also threw up Bellamys Grey at 9/2, just a shame that the well backed Sienna Royal was a runner up and not a winner, but from the messages i know a few made a tidy little profit from the 2 winners and placed horse in a small unit each way Patent.

 

A couple of poor AW Fixtures today and just the one NH Fixture at Leicester and The Advisor is in the chair at one of his more local Tracks.
