Wednesday 22nd June

A mixed day yesterday with Uccello a non runner and Dandy's Angel finishing 4th at Beverley (most bookies were initially paying to 4th and the horse went off at 18/1 but with 3 non runners that negated the enhanced place). At Newbury Charlie Arthur finished 3rd and whilst Broad Appeal was unplaced it is absolutely one we'll track forwards especially if it runs at Windsor. The highlight of the day for those that played the advice was an all the way 50/1 win for Calculus who was given a highly enterprising ride and if you were on I'm sure that you're happy.

There is plenty of racing today but by far the best Card is at Carlisle with the historic Carlisle Plate and the near prehistoric Carlisle Bell, first raced in 1599! They aren't flashy high grade races but always competitive and very much sought after in terms of winning. Our Northern expert (who else) has some interesting picks.

NO exchange / long shots today as we won't put them up for the sake of it but I don't think you'll be disappointed by the value our Northern expert is tipping on what looks like an incredibly tough and competitive Card
