Barry Nicholls - Newmarket 5.55 18 Squire - each way @ 16/1 (odds to 4th)

The 5.55 at Newmarket is notionally called "The Silver Cambridgeshire" it is run over the same trip
as the big race tomorrow and should give us some good ground and draw pointers and also an
indication of how front runners/prominent horses fare v hold up horses, as the wind direction on
these sweeping expanses can be a huge factor, tail wind suits prominent  types, head wind suits
hold up/covered up horses. One horse did really jump off the page for Work Watcher and when we
chatted about it, the form really does stand out. Last 3 runs on the Rowley Mile have seen a win
and 2 runner up places off marks of 71;76 and 78, it runs off 75 here and in Rab Havlin have not
only  a great jockey but a brilliant work rider on Newmarket Heath. They go for a tongue tie and
at 16/1 with odds to 4th place with that type of Course cv, surely worth a speculative punt.
