Chester 5.05

Chester 5.05 10 Roll On Rory 1/2 point each way at 12/1 (PP + Sky go odds to 4th enhanced)

The only "all aged handicap" on the Card over 7 furlongs and some solid Course specialists in this race. A lot is written about the draw
at Chester and how you have to be drawn Low. Whilst it is a big advantage to be drawn low to middle, it is immediately negated IF you
miss the break, or if something breaks quickly and gets the rail. I like INTRANSIGENT drawn in stall 1, but it can just miss the kick and
despite the Yard having an excellent record here; for that reason I have to oppose. The likes of Alejandro; Kenstone; My Amigo; Right Touch;
have solid from claims, in some cases Course form and also decent draws (some) but I was left with 3 I really wanted to focus on.
Sultan Bybars is the one with possibly most scope; nice profile and draw but lacks Course experience, ROLL ON RORY though is my
tip in the race. He may be drawn 10 but breaks quickly more often than not; he has decent pace around him and I think can get a good
prominent position. It is the last race on the Card, they all go along the rail, so if he were to run near the front 2-3 wide, may have better

ground anyway. He is 1-1 at the track and in Jon Egan has a craftsman of a jockey and I think the price is cracking value to 4th place.

I will "mention" ROARING FORTIES too, the yard have had a 28/1 winner for SP2A in the past week, another winner since and on Monday
HITMAN advised at 20/1 was something of an unlucky loser, coming 2nd at 10/1 for a bit of each way money, having made up a huge amount
of ground, after it had to spend 100 yards running more sideways that forwards seeking a gap. ROARING FORTIES has been unlucky with the
draw in its last 2 runs but run as well as anything it was drawn with, gets stall 6 here and in Martin Harley, another "street fighter" of a jockey
at this track where a brave and strong street wise pilot is a massive asset. I like its each way chances to 4 places. The key here is LUCK IN RUNNING.
