A trip over 12 Furlongs and with ground easing, stamina and ability to handle a bit of cut are important. BATTERSEA ticks all the boxes for me and this is not quite as tough as some races he has competed well in. He runs off a decent mark and looks the one to beat. Carnageo would be a dark horse in this but I'm not totally convinced this is his optimum trip and Je Suis Charlie is one we tipped last time and he disappointed. He may be better suited to the Going today but on balance I think TAWDEAA is better value on the day. He runs off a declining and nice mark; gets his Ground, is now fully fit an we should begin to see if a recent wind op has worked the oracle.
