At the top of the market are Mr Hailstone for Dr Newland who makes a long journey North to carry 12 stones upped around 1/2 mile in trip, and Tara Brooch who was a staying on 4th in a recent race here where it was beaten by Velasco and SOMETHING GOLDEN. 

 

Velsasco would have a solid chance on the basis of that run but the one i most like out of that race is SOMETHING GOLDEN who showed improvement to finish 3rd and who would surely have finished closer but for hitting the final Hurdle pretty hard. Having seen that the horse gets the trip and can finish well up the Hill, I'll be disappointed if it's not beating both horses it raced last time and goes very close to winning this.

 

Dr Shiroco is another in with a decent each way chance if staying this trip for Sandy Forster and Get Phar who has some solid Irish form and who returns off a 300 day break is one I'm adding to the TRACKER after tonights run. If you want one at silly odds to cheer on for £1 each way then have a look at Elusive Red who popped up to run placed over Course and Distance and at the Course in 2021 before an extended break through injury and who runs off a mark of 72 here at 100/1. It's shown few signs of that form on its return but with each run should come more fitness and confidence.

 

My second pick in the race though is THE LONGEST DAY who showed distinct signs of returning to form when a runner up last time and who has also come back off an extended injury break and probably a few runs ahead of Elusive Red.
