Huntingdon 1.00

THE ADVISOR - Huntingdon 1.00 Conditional Jockeys Handicap Hurdle - 2 miles 3 and 1/2 furlongs - 16 run - Soft

A tough race to fathom but as with the Sedgefield race we'll keep faith with the Tracker having looked at every other horse.

At the top end of the market Monjues for Harry Fry, Sermando for Jonjo and Clapton Hill for the in-form Pauling team all look progressive and likely to dominate proceedings. I have covered those off personally with a small T/Cast perm.

A few others step into handicaps with signs they can win races and the likes of Dom Bosco and Gavroche D'Allier head that category and are very much respected. The likes of Pearly Island, Glance at Me and Coconut Tudor all have bits of form that suggest they could easily outrun their likely odds but it's that kind of race.

The Tracker throws up HECTOR JAVILEX who steps up in trip here and I thought made eye catching progress last time from off the pace over too short a trip, it's just the kind of handicap mark bandit that could explode at any time, MAID ON THE MOON for Alan King won a Course and Distance Maiden here and placed over Course and Distance in a handicap, I like Course form here, they are always on the turn and it's very sharp and some horses like it but many hate it and just don't seem to give their running.

The other one that I keep coming back to though is NO NO TANGO it does need to settle better but this is a track that may suit it, sharp and flat and if it pinches a soft lead then Lily Pinchin as we know is very adept at riding the fractions and it's not hard to visualise this one leading then in to the straight and with all kinds of traffic issues in behind getting a place at least courtesy of an enterprising ride.
