Limerick 3.25
SEAN - (Placespotter) - Limerick 3.25 - 2 miles 3 furlongs - Handicap Hurdle - 18 run - Heavy
At the head of the market we have Resurrected Duke, for whom the jockey change is notable and Lie Low The Fields, a very promising De Bromhead horse who may be one that just needs to strengthen up with another summer on its back to be seen to best effect. Both would have strong claims but on this tacky heavy gluepot surface I'll side with the more experienced GLENABO BRIDGE who deserves a win after a string of solid and consistent runs.
You always look for a trigger to transform a horse with this kind of profile into a winner, something to just find that missing few percent, the Going and mark are fine, but the slight drop in trip and the addition of cheekpieces may just be the key and it looks like a strong each way punt.
A few of the others look like they have maybe been plotted for the race, specifically Take A Punt and The Grey Guy; but the form as we know it doesn't amount to that much but another who may just be one who needs that "key" is HALF SHOT. Placed over Course and Distance here on penultimate run when Simon Torrens who switches to Resurrected Duke rode, ran very well to this kind of trip on last run and today gets the very capable assistance of Gavin Brouder and his 7lbs Claim. A repeat of either of those last 2 runs make the double figure Odds look good each way value with enhanced place Odds.
TIP - Glenabo Bridge / TRACKER - Half Shot
