Friday 27th September
A very short priced winner and an abandonment of Pontefract before our tip race was very frustrating yesterday.
A very wild and windy and wet day in many parts today and as a result very probably lots of non runners at Haydock, Newmarket, Worcester and Listowel plus some AW action too.
It's very hard to tip with any confidence on days like this with mostly small fields probably getting smaller as I write.
We've ONE TIP suggestion from RJ and prefer to leave it there and look again tomorrow.
NEWMARKET 5.20 - FIRST OFFICER
First Officer has a Course and Distance win off a mark of 74 last Autumn and was a Runner Up at the Course over an extended 10 furlongs off a mark of 75 after that. A drop back to the Course and Distance winning 9 furlongs here off a mark of 78 with a 7lbs Claim looks like serious each way value.
