Monday 30th December
A win for Knockbrack Rambler who was advised at 8/1 and backed in to 4/1 SP was a modicum of success after 4 very poor Racing days in Ireland where we also saw Comfort Zone place. At Kelso; Nab Wood looked genuinely unlucky in running and should be winning again soon.
With AW at Wolverhampton; and a couple of National Hunt Fixtures at Haydock on Heavy Going and at Taunton on Good to Soft that are sparsely attended by runners there is not much to enthuse over today.
RJ is back after an extended break and had a long look at both of the NH Cards and has got a sporting each way double with a couple of horses who look well handicapped in optimal conditions.
With our Irish Tipsters struggling to attain the sort of form they had this time last year, when quite frankly they were picking winners for fun, I thought it worth focussing on our UK tipster whose form has flipped the other way in recent times.
Based on industry standard places and SP odds in the last month we have Robin running at +76.7 (POT - Profit on Turnover); Northern running at +61% (POT) and The Advisor running at +60% (POT).
That contrasts with Michael at -50.2% and Sean at -28.4%
Since the 1st October - Robin is running at +44.5% and Northern at +30.2% (The Advisor had a break after the Turf flat season and only returned to NH tipping about 4 weeks ago).
So all things considered our UK form is very strong at the moment.
These figures are extracted from independent proofing and tomorrow I will delve more into it and how it works and from January 1st all of the rolling data from 1 January 2025 will be on the website and will be updated the day after Racing. This will mean we can have fully accurate results for the first time in too long.
There is a flip side to this and that is that the Members Paddock will no longer show TIPS in advance but will show the FULL ANALYSIS at the time it is sent out. The logistics of this will be explained tomorrow.
