Monday 8th June

A tough day yesterday when we picked the wrong one of the 2 most likely to win the race and the bigger placed punts never really looked like getting involved at the business end.

Nevertheless with 2 big priced SP winners and 2 big priced placed horses in the preceding week, we have made a profitable and decent start.

The UK action today is at Haydock on turf, Chelmsford and Lingfield on AW and there is Irish action at Naas.

We'll swerve the UK, too many Going doubts at Haydock, we've never really touched Chelmsford and Lingfield AW looks tricky. Naas have a big Card with plenty of 2 and 3 year OLd races but the 2 Divisions of the 6 furlong Handicap at 4.00 and 4.30 look very tricky, but just the kind of puzzle we like and favourites in both (Gee Rex and Yale respectively) that are just crying out to be taken on.

It's first meeting of their re-commenced season so as with UK last week we will tread very carefully and go with 1/2 point Trackers.
