It wasn't looking like a great day yesterday with 2 poor tip race outcomes after a very strong week overall until the 7.27 at Down Royal. When you have a race decided "on the nod" it's always welcome that they are the 2 tips, so a win for Evenings Empire at 16/1 SP (advised 14's) over Vidisha at 10/1 SP (advised 16's) was most welcome.

 

There is a top class Card at The Curragh today but with some rain and a lot of non-handicaps the opinion of Michael and Sean is to wait for tomorrow, when both are likely to target different races at the same venue. In the UK the main Flat Turf Cardis at Newbury and we'll have a look at a 2 year old race there, we'll swerve Doncaster and Haydock but we'll have race tips at Newmarket and Ripon, and with Cartmel and Market Rasen staging good competitive NH Cards, we'll have the Summer Plate at Market Rasen as the feature race.
