A decent enough run into a 4th place (industry standard with more than 16 runners) for Spitalfield at 28/1 at Doncaster was a decent enough effort yesterday, sadly the Handicap Chase was ruined by the "low sun" with pretty much half the fences omitted. Fingers crossed the same fate does not befall the Great Yorkshire Chase today, a cracking Betting heat. We know TV schedules take priority but the sun, if it appears, is a factor for no more than a 30 minute window, so why they can't schedule the race earlier, is frankly beyond and sort of pragmatic common sense!

 

The Cheltenham Card is low on numbers and just one really interesting race from a Handicap betting opportunity, we'll obviously have a decent look at the Great Yorkshire Chase and the big field Handicap Chase at Fairyhouse has thrown up a couple at very decent each way Odds and we'll close with a quick each way banker (hopefully) at Uttoxeter.
