Sunday 24th November
A very wet and very windy 24 hours here in Devon and more to come later today.
A poor day yesterday which we will contemplate and consider in great detail over the next few days. I'm staggered Exeter is currently ON, it's sure to be bottomless ground, the high winds are going to make travel a real issue for some and I whilst there are always big economic considerations in calling any Sporting Event off at short notice, health and safety of horses, jockey's and the general public are surely most important. I think there will be a glut of non runners on ground and transport issues. We'll swerve a couple of planned selections there. I can't see Uttoxeter being much better, that leaves Punchestown, they escaped the worst of the rain yesterday, it's pretty dry there today and winds are strong but not dangerous if the forecast is correct.
Michael thinks there is some each way value to be found in The Banks race at 11.35 and Sean is confident he's found a couple at very juicy prices in a 15 runner Handicap Hurdle.
NO TRACKERS at all today.
