An enhanced 5th place at 20/1 SP for Doyen Flyer simply mitigated some of the losses on the main tip race at Punchestown yesterday which was disappointing. In the other mentioned race there both Driveonwill and John The Diva ran well enough to place at decent SP's.

 

The South West and particularly Somerset has been very badly affected by both of the Storms that came over the weekend and it seems that the Paul Nicholls yard has suffered very badly reading the front of the Racing Post today. We await an inspection at Chepstow as I start to write this and also for tomorrow's Exeter Card. There is NH at Newcastle and Limerick today and we have selections at both and an each way Nap at Chepstow, should the Meeting be on.
