Tuesday 9th July

Good Morning

A lot of rain is forecast for Brighton, Pontefract and Uttoxeter areas today and with largely moderate fields in terms of quality and quantity the considered view is to take a day off. The AW Card at Lingfield is likely to be top of the market dominated and the Tramore Card is similarly sparse on numbers, unusual for Ireland.

There is some decent Racing at Yarmouth and Fairyhouse tomorrow, Newmarket and Newbury on Thursday and Newmarket, Ascot and York on Friday and into the weekend. All venues will have had a fair dollop of rain over the past 24 hours and later today by then and we can hopefully look forward to some genuine Good / Good to Soft and in a few cases assured Soft Going and the bigger fields and more certainty that brings, so plenty to look forward to and a lot of races to attack.

There are a few 2 year olds to TRACK coming out of the pair of 2 year old races we covered yesterday and some interesting feedback and analysis from Carolyn. We are still in the "learning and watching phase" of this segment. Carolyn will put her latest article up on the NEWS PAGE of the website by around 11am today and we'll link back to it tomorrow. You don't need to "log in" to see the News Page and once up it will be the main first item on the News Page drop down list, above this one!

NO TRACKERS today.

I'll be back tomorrow morning with tips/analysis at around 8.30am
