A couple of nice well backed winners from the two tip races and a couple placed too. Sammy Smart who was advised 1t 16/1 was steadily backed into 8/1 and won nicely with a decent effort from County Champs to place. Shantou Princess looks a nice prospect and advised at 9/1 was also steadily backed in to win at 4/1 SP with the admirably consistent He Fitz In also running a place.

 

The Hereford Card looks to favour the top end of the markets on Good to Soft ground, there are a couple of AW Fixtures and Leicester was abandoned very early due to flooding. There is a very decent and competitive looking Card at Hexham and we'll attack a Handicap Chase and a Handicap Hurdle there today looking for some more winners.
