Wednesday 15th September

Good Morning;

A disappointing run by Watching Brief who dropped out at mid point of the race at Fontwell yesterday, a better run from Jamesanitpatrick who looked booked for 3rd at one point until clobbering the last hurdle and losing all momentum on the long run in. That was a better run and whist Watching brief looks done for the summer JSP definitely one to track at probably 3 miles and on anything with Soft in the Going description.

Today looks a bit like a "try to find anything" kind of day. Sandown has never been a happy hunting ground for us on the Flat, Kelso is pretty poor, the AW we won't focus on until end of turf really and Beverley a very competitive couple of handicaps especially the "winner laden" Sprint at 3.10 and the 3.40 has a number of unexposed 3 year olds running.

Our Norther Expert has identified a few if you want a small punt today but NO tips/trackers.

In the 3.10 value and a perfect draw may see a place run at least from the veteran TERENTUM STAR and interesting that David Allen goes down to just about his lowest recent racing weight (8S8LBS) to ride this one for David Griffiths; whilst Fentiman rides East Street Revue off a higher weight for Allens normal retainer Tim Easterby?

In the 3.40 SUDONA deserves a win and is weighted to do so but faces some unexposed 3 year olds and one at a big price who may just be racing fit now is Western Beat.
