Avery nice win for Avec Espoir atTipperary yesterday, made all and won by 18 lengths at 16/1 SP having been advised at 10/1, with Favouri Logique picking up the enhanced place it was pretty much the perfect result.

 

The 2 year old Oncebittentwiceshy on its racecourse debut could not follow up the success of monday, it broke well but ran very "green" and was given a tender time by Luke Morris after that. The pedigree suggests 6 furlongs may be the minimal trip for this one as we touched on yesterday but it will be an interesting example for us to follow forwards, and upped in trip we may see a different outcome. No 2 year old races catch the eye today but Carolyn will have another feature on Friday.

 

Good to Firm Going is the norm today but with plenty of rain on the horizon from Friday and in to next week there is a clear changing pattern in the weather and therefore the Going coming soon and it will be welcome for the horses at least. 

 

Patience may be the virtue today as we have a couple of tip races later this evening.
